Who am I ?

My name is Fabien, I am 37 years old and I am based in Quimper, in Brittany.

My first experience of deep well-being came at the age of 15 by doing a meditation on my hands. It was my very first Yoga exercise and it was the most intense. This sensory and intense experience of the body gave me the desire to explore human potential through Yoga, breathing, meditation, wellness massage and treatment.

I was able to take my first Yoga classes in 2010 and then quickly did a first 18-month Savita Yoga training course in 2012.

This introduction to the practice of Yoga was the first step in a lifelong learning journey which has seen me complete over 2000 hours of training in various wellness disciplines over the past ten years, deeply enriching my understanding and my practice.

3 diplomas and 600 hours of training in Yoga in India between 2013 and 2014

Then I wanted to immerse myself in the source of Yoga by going to India and I had the opportunity to learn Yoga in a more intense way. I followed 400 hours of training (2 intense months) at the Yoga Vidya Gurukul school near Nashik. I was able to get my foot in the door by learning Traditional Hatha Yoga and therapeutic Yoga (disease-oriented).

Not yet being satisfied with all my knowledge in Yoga, I went to the Shri Kali ashram to learn Traditional Tantra Yoga (or Kaula Yoga) which is a very gentle and meditative Yoga. It was a revelation to find a Yoga that was a kind of moving meditation. Even today it is one of the Yogas that I teach the most. This training is certified by Yoga Alliance.

AcroYoga, Kashmir Yoga then Therapeutic Yoga

In 2017, I had the opportunity to do my TTC (Teacher Training Course) in AcroYoga in Berlin. Due to an injury I did not have the opportunity to practice or teach. However, I keep in mind the qualities of play and sharing that AcroYoga, also known as Acrobatic Yoga in French, brings.

The year 2018 was marked by the discovery of two very important teachers for me:

  • Eric Baret who introduced me to Kashmiri Yoga which is a very gentle Yoga and which places a very strong emphasis on listening and the sensoriality of the body. Even today I am imbued with this energy.
  • Doctor NC Chandrasekaran who introduced me to Vini Yoga and especially Yoga Therapy. His quality as a teacher is extraordinary. It teaches us how to truly connect with the people we help. We learn to read the lines of our body to find a Yoga adapted to the person. For example, is one shoulder lower or higher than the other etc etc.

Today

Today, my journey around Yoga has been further enriched by various training courses:

  • More than 200 hours dedicated to yogic and tantric philosophy,
  • 550 hours of RNCP professional training as a SPA and well-being worker, where I perfected the art of touch.

My curious and cheerful nature, combined with my sense of humor, allows me to share warmly and create connections during the events and wellness stays that I organize. Whether for a hen or stag party, a corporate wellness half day or breathing coaching sessions, my goal is to provide a space where everyone can express themselves and relax.

Apart from organizing events, I offer individual wellness massage sessions at home and therapeutic yoga sessions.
